Fabrication

I specialize in translating creative vision into physical form through hands-on fabrication, model-making, and scenic production. My work includes CNC-modeled ride queue elements, on-site scale models used for daily stakeholder reviews, and full scenic builds from concept through installation. I’ve led end-to-end fabrication efforts for immersive restaurants and themed environments, blending precision craft with creative problem-solving to deliver storytelling experiences that are both functional and visually iconic.

Design & Previsualization

My design process begins by working directly with architectural plans to identify opportunities for scenic integration. I develop spatial layouts and model scenic additions at real-world scale to ensure seamless fit and flow. From there, I create detailed CAD documentation and 3D models to guide fabrication and stakeholder approval. This approach bridges creative intent with technical precision, making the transition from concept to construction smooth, accurate, and creatively consistent.

Scale Models & Stakeholder Communication

I build scale models that serve as critical tools for aligning creative leads, clients, and stakeholders throughout the design process. These models allow for real-time evaluations of sightlines, guest circulation, and lighting effects, enabling rapid iteration and clear communication. Having physical representations on hand during daily reviews helps reduce ambiguity, streamline approvals, and ensure that all teams are working from a shared visual reference.

Scenic Fabrication & Installation

I’ve led end-to-end scenic production for immersive restaurants, themed environments, and branded experiences, taking projects from initial concept through to final installation. My process includes translating scenic designs into fabrication-ready drawings, selecting materials suited for both aesthetics and durability, and managing coordination between vendors, fabrication shops, and onsite teams. I stay closely involved during installation to ensure everything aligns with the creative vision and supports the intended guest experience.

Tech-Integrated Scenic Design

Many of my scenic builds are designed to do more than look good—they serve as housings for complex technology while maintaining a seamless visual experience for guests. I design front-facing surfaces to optimize for projection mapping, lighting, and visual reveals, considering materials, angles, and finishes that enhance show media. On the reverse or internal side, I plan and model space for integrated tech infrastructure—including monitors, projectors, laser safety scanners, speakers, sensors, and lighting—ensuring easy access for install and maintenance. This dual approach allows the scenic to support both storytelling and technical reliability without compromise.

Cinderella Castle Model for Orlando’s Happily Ever After and Beyond

I led media development and on-site mastering for castle projection, ensuring precise visual alignment throughout installation. To support creative reviews, I also designed and built a six-foot-tall physical scale model of Cinderella Castle. This model was used in-studio with Disney stakeholders to validate projection mapping, composition, and narrative before on-site deployment of the nighttime spectacular. It continued to serve as a critical tool for all subsequent shows and is now proudly on display at the Disney Studio in Glendale, CA.

Momentous, Hong Kong Disneyland’s nighttime spectacular. I not only animated key sequences but also led the show timing and pyro synchronization to ensure perfect alignment between media, effects, and musical beats during live performances. To support stakeholder reviews during development, I built a detailed scale model of the Castle of Magical Dreams—originally used on-site for daily creative reviews and approvals. That same model later became a centerpiece of the opening exhibit Building a Dream for the newly reimagined Hong Kong Disneyland Castle. After the exhibit closed, the model transitioned into a traveling exhibition piece, continuing to represent the show’s legacy across Disney events worldwide.
